Be on the Look Out
The Chicopee Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred at the Chicopee Savings Bank, located at 463 Burnett Road.
On September 11, 2007, about 1:30pm a lone white male entered the bank and approached a teller. The male suspect placed a note on the counter stating that he had a gun and demanded money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the
suspect, who then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5'9" to 5'11", weighing approximately 170lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, a bluish windbreaker jacket and a black and red baseball style hat. The hat was pulled down low to conceal the suspects face.
